Films: The Medusa Touch (1978)
Alias: None
Type: Mystical
Location: Civilized area
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: Why does this keep happening? It seems every time we turn our backs, there's a being capable of manipulating the world around him, and he uses it to unleash his insecurities upon us all. But none before have achieved a scope like this.
History: John Morlar didn't have the most appealing opinion on the world. Everywhere he looked, he saw people who slighted him and general hypocrisy all around. Then he figured out that he had psychic powers. Powers he could use to cause untold destruction.
Notable Kills: From knocking over a couple over a cliff with a car to annihilating an entire spacecraft.
Final Fate: Despite still undergoing recovery in a hospital, Morlar managed to escape any attempts on his life, and now he's targeted a nuclear power plant. Oh dear.
Powers/Abilities: Extreme telekinesis.
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 4.5-Most psychics before this could only manipulate the environment they saw before them. Morlar is near God-like in ability. And you know you're screwed when the most powerful man on Earth is a total misanthrope.
Trivia: -This film was based on a 1973 novel of the same name.
-Morlar was played by Richard Burton, who was known for his memorable portrayal of Hamlet in 1964.
